I love learning and hope that if you don’t that I can convince you to love it too. I never stopped learning after college, in fact my learning increased. My raw, unquenched, and enduring thirst for learning and knowledge seems to be limited only by physical weaknesses. I get excited about learning because I feel a drive to learn will increase the chances of finding truth and morality. Learning grants one power because learning gives you more options in life.
My mission is to get the world excited about learning. I believe a world that loves learning will be better world. Don’t let yourself stop learning because you have a piece of paper saying you sat in classes for 4 years, it’s time to realize that learning doesn’t stop at graduation.
At the end of the article is a list of links to tons of free videos and classes online.
Philosophy behind continued learning
If you have a philosophy and habit to continue learning then you will be more open to new ideas. When you seek to learn you are pushing your mind open to new data. This type of behavior is useful in that it may reduce confirmation bias. This behavior will at the very least increase your knowledge and expose you to new ideas which will empower you.
Learning to teach
I teach others as charity and for myself. One thing about teaching is that the material you teach becomes even more deeply embedded in your brain. It is a golden two fold way of increasing self knowledge while spreading it at the same time. More and more we are seeing free teaching tools available online. This access to knowledge can change the world for the better only if we take advantage of it.
Learning brings truth, truth brings justice
The more varied knowledge we learn the more likely we are to find truth. Truth is almost always an admirable quest, usually fraught with perils along the way. Truth is often hidden by the corrupt, so logically finding truth should help humanity formulate a more just society. This is why continuing to seek education after school is so important. It can help society and prevent you from stagnating mentally.
Free Learning and Knowledge
I am usually working on or producing pieces of media for promoting education and learning. Some of it is free and some of it is not. I feel most learning should be free, but some exhaustive collections of knowledge should be purchased. This is mainly to fund and further repeated collections of knowledge. If you are looking for some free places to learn, check out these links. There are mountains of free knowledge to be learned.
